Pleasing Google with Your Menu
A commonly overlooked search engine optimization hindrance is your menu. You know, that gateway to the rest of your web site? Often times, your menus are made to look pretty by your web design using flash, slide effects, java effects, rollover buttons, and other methods that look great. However, these attractive effects make it difficult for Google to crawl through your web site and download all of your content for indexing.
The easiest way to remedy this is to include text links to all of your pages at the bottom of your home page. This allows the search engines to easily navigate your web site.
